The specialist handmade ProAc Kevlar 6½-inch drivers are seamlessly crossed over to a 2-inch dome midrange, featuring a horn manufactured from billet aluminium. For high frequencies, ProAc’s proven ribbon tweeter has been selected.
The K6 cabinet features ProAc’s traditional combination of HDF materials in varying thicknesses, heavily damped with bitumen. Including the bitumen, the cabinet construction reaches an impressive 35mm thickness.
Through extensive research into composite materials and their properties, ProAc has created a stunningly accurate and detailed loudspeaker with an electrostatic or panel-like quality, without the associated drawbacks. Sound is reproduced effortlessly, delivering incredible detail and pinpoint imaging—qualities that can often be compromised by conventional drive units.
The K6 combines ProAc’s legendary expansive soundstage and lifelike imaging capabilities to deliver a highly musical and engaging listening experience.
