Designed as a complete digital front end, the Gold Note DS-10 EVO Line combines a network streamer, preamplifier, headphone amplifier, and digital-to-analogue converter into a unified system. Among modern digital sources, standalone DAC's often require separate preamplification, but the Gold Note DS-10 EVO Line includes an analogue preamplifier stage with direct-to-power-amplifier output functionality.

As high-resolution streaming becomes the primary playback method for modern listening setups, network players need to handle diverse transmission protocols without compromising signal stability. The Gold Note DS-10 EVO Line offers full streaming support across platforms such as Roon Ready, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, Spotify, and AirPlay 2, operating over both Wi-Fi and Ethernet. For local or mobile audio sources, high-definition Bluetooth provides quick connection capabilities, allowing external devices to send audio streams directly to the internal AKM AK4493 converter platform.
Real-Time Custom Sonic Tailoring:
At the heart of the digital conversion architecture is the AKM AK4493 converter, supporting PCM formats up to 32-bit/384kHz alongside native DSD512 processing. Gold Note incorporates its proprietary Chameleon DAC technology, enabling real-time adjustments to digital filters, de-emphasis curves, and DSD playback characteristics. These processing adjustments allow fine-tuning of tonal balance and impulse response directly from the front-panel Single Knob Control or the GN Control app. In addition, the Line variant introduces an analogue input, allowing direct connection of analogue sources such as phono stages into the main signal path.
